How our consent orders work

We will send you our secure online form to complete all of the financial information we need for the consent orders. If you’ve chosen our super split option, we will coordinate a valuation of the super account that is being split, as required by the court.

We will write your consent orders and send them to you and your ex for signing online. If you’ve chosen our super split option, we will get the super fund’s pre-approval of the super splitting orders, as required by the court.

It’s now time to file the documents with the court. If you’ve chosen our court filing option, we will file the signed consent orders and any super splitting validation information with the court on your behalf.

The court will review and approve the consent orders. If you’ve chosen our court filing option, we will monitor the court portal and send you and your ex a copy of the sealed orders once approved.

You can now go ahead and implement the consent orders, such as transferring a property or car. The sealed orders will entitle you to an exemption from paying stamp duty on these transfers. If you’ve chosen our super split or property transfer options, we’ll implement these for you.
